Dragon Age: Demons Within is set after Origins and Awakening. It follows Edric Cousland as he searches for Morrigan.

After finding her, it is revealed that he now suffers from the consequence of being a Grey Warden. After a whirl of events, he is persuaded by Morrigan to stay.
